Now in its 11th year, The Run to Remember is a family and community oriented 10K, 5K and Kids' Run held annually by the California Peace Officers' Association's REGION II to honor peace officers who have fallen in the line of duty. Proceeds benefit local public safety charities, and the event includes on-site food vendors, face painting, and a helicopter display.

Artapalooza

A Walk to Oakland's Rose Garden & Piedmont's Mansions

Shred415 is a new boutique gym in San Ramon. The class is an instructor led 60-min high intensity interval training workout designed for all fitness levels. The class is split into 4 15-min intervals. The work out will bounce between cardio on the treadmills and strength training on the floor. The class is energetic and a lot of fun! The music gets turned up as the lights get turned down. The class can fit up to 30 people at a time.

From the Staging Area in Bollinger Canyon the trek will start steeply to spectacular Rocky Ridge and one of the leader's favorite lunch spots in the Bay Area. The return route will take the group to the southern reaches of Rocky Ridge before heading downhill to the trailhead. This loop features stunning views, verdant rolling grasslands and abundant wildflowers. Allow 6.5 hours for this 5.25 mi. hike with about 1100 ft. of total elevation gain. Steady relaxed pace with a 30 min. lunch and other rest breaks. Be prepared for poison oak and warm temperatures.
